The photo book is the ultimate result of many photographic projects and the María Cristina Orive Library was created to continue our mission to celebrate and archive the work of female Latin American photographers.

The first step occurs thanks to the donation of artists and the publishing house La Visita (Chile). 

We wanted to extend our sincere gratitude to Arte x Arte for the generous book donation to our library. This contribution will greatly enhance our growing collection, which archives and displays photobooks by Latin American and Caribbean women photographers. It is truly an honor to continue presenting the works of these talented photographers in book format.

For context, ArtexArte Ediciones is a publisher and gallery based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, specializing in catalogs and books of contemporary photography. Their mission is to promote the work of both emerging and established photographers, highlighting innovation and diversity within the field. Through their high-quality publications, they aim to enrich visual culture by exploring diverse photographic themes and techniques.

ArtexArte Ediciones also dedicates efforts to publishing research and documentation on the photographic medium, contributing significantly to the development and dissemination of photographic art nationally and internationally. Thank you again to Mariano for facilitating this kind exchange.
